Warehouse Heroes of Tomorrow

The labour market in Flanders and the Netherlands is under pressure. There is a growing demand for employees, especially in sectors such as logistics. Lifelong learning and an active labour market policy with a strong emphasis on further and retraining are important to better match supply and demand on the labour market. In addition to inflow problems, there are also challenges around employee retention.

As one of the nine partners, BlueTea participates in the project Warehouse Heroes of Tomorrow. We want to strengthen the competencies of (future) warehouse employees in line with evolving business needs. This includes identifying competency needs by means of an extensive survey of the target group and coordination with a steering group.

Based on this, hybrid learning materials are developed in various learning formats, both physical and digital, with a focus on competence enhancement. For example, a 'toolbox' with immersive learning materials will be put together, such as an application, videos, visual workflow or AR/VR. The project also aims for a broad dissemination of knowledge and learning materials via various communication media.
