BlueTea & iLAB: Decision making in Domestic Violence situations

Practice training for assistant public prosecutors in the Dutch National Police and care providers involved in domestic violence situations is complex, difficult to organize and expensive. Therefore training is scarce and difficult to objectify. However, decisions are made about private and domestic situations with a major impact to everyone involved. Also, objectiveness in decision making is a challenge in all cases. To increase the frequency of training, simplify access and make training more effective, an immersive VR training has been developed in cooperation with the target group. This virtual training is currently being used on a trial basis and of which the first results on effectiveness are being gathered. During the session we will discuss the initial need, the development in collaboration with content experts of the Dutch Police and experts involved.
